BSJA North East’s members have enjoyed considerable coverage in the
local and regional press as well as Equestrian Plus Magazine who
should be commended for their support for show jumping in our region.
Regular write ups in the BSJA’s Show Jumper magazine have ensured that
members are kept as up to date as deadlines allow.
Bearing this in mind both the text service and the newly
established facebook page have provided show and training dates as
well as schedules, Ball information and regular items on members’
success. Not only have the members themselves adopted use of these
services but our Area show centres have made full use of the service
allowing the dissemination of their information to a large audience
completely free of charge.
Our North East Junior Academy has become well established and has
seen its first ‘Academy Awards’ at this years fantastic Show Jumper’s
Ball. The evening was a sell out and everyone attending agreed it was

The 2010 Area show dates are already confirmed and the venues
booked. Members can be assured that their Reps. are working on
Training Dates and Academy activities for the forthcoming year.
It only remains to remind everyone that we’ll provide as much
profile for our members and show centres as we can. Keep your success
stories coming please. Do bear in mind that we don’t have a marketing
budget but we’ll strive to produce as many ‘column inches’ for you
as we can.
